Wylies on the Square is Dahlonega’s premier destination restaraunt. Located on the historic Dahlonega Square, Wylie’s provides a setting that is not soon forgotten. Known for our hand cut Black Angus steaks, Wylie’s is a favorite for our visitors for the fine food, service and entertainment. We have three floors which each provide an unique environment for our clientele. Downstairs at Wylie’s DownUnder we feature the finest entertainment available in the region. Our history
Connie and I bought the Coffee House in 1996. We only had sandwiches and gourmet coffee and some gifts. In 1997 we decided to put a kitchen in and become a full restaurant. Later in 1997 we changed the name to Wylies Rest, built the downstairs bar and finally we put upstairs dining in July 1997. We have always prided ourselves on the best hand cut choice steaks in Dahlonega. Our desserts are known everywhere for there freshness.
